LOW download speeds

just bought this was getting 950 Mbps with a modem then hooked to a router now varying from 80 -600 then falls flat to around 80 what could cause this ? comcast is my internet service provider . did i get the wrong one for comcast ? i about had it with this one if it keeps it up im returning it going back to my old set up

apparently it fixed it self must have had a driver or something was screwing it up

It should hit gigabit without issues.
How are you testing the speeds?
Wired? Wireless?
What site are you using for testing?
got a copy of the cable connections page and event logs?

i use ookla with new pc a ultra 9 285k with a rtx 5080 2 4 TB SSD with wifi 7 with a asus z890 hero motherboard is on ethernet on the 5G port on the ax2700 its the same using the 2.5 G port as well but i get the same result on my phone when i test it on netgear app plus when i had my old equipment had a arris s33 modem then a asus wifi router would get 949 Mbps constantly with no issues on the same sites .

got a copy of the cable connections page (shows upstream/downstream values) and event logs?
those help check the line, Wouldn't be the first time something had gotten tightened wrong or caused a cable issue

see keeps going lower i used to get 949 Mbps using a arris s33 modem with a asus ax5700 router and figured the netgear ax2700 would do the same but why is it totally different same test on ookla
