Modem docsis 3.1 with voice and wi fi - if I connect RAX120 Nighthawk router - will I have issues?

I need to purchase a docsis 3.1 router with phone jack... It seems that the modems with phone jacks come with wi-fi.   if I connect my RAX120 Nighthawk router to a modem as described- will I have issues?

    NGs CM1150v and 2050v are modems with phone support and no built in wifi or router here. 

     

    You could disable wifi radios on the gateway modem if it has wifi built in if you want to use the RAX. 

    Possible bridge mode of the gateway could work as well then use the RAX as your main host router.
