Modem router not working--no lights on

After having tried to reset the router several times, it still is not working. The lights on the front are not on, but the ethernet lights in the back are, which shows me it is getting power. I have seen that other people have had this issue, but I did not see a solution.

    Have you tried disconnecting the coax from it, leaving powered on, then pushing and holding reset for up to 30 seconds?

        the only other thing I'd try would be a different power supply. If you had one sitting around from something else that has the same voltage and at least the same amperage, you could try that. It can have more amperage. It just has to have the exact same voltage.
