Modem security protection scam
Thought I was dealing with a NETGEAR associate online with purchasing modem security protection. I checked the e-mail address he gave me with NETGEAR and was told it was not a legit e-mail address. No NETGEAR e-mail addresses end in gmail.com

Ya, would be a scam.
Most addressed email is netgear.com would be authentic.
