Modem won’t turn on. Red light turns on and off once

Question

So, I arrived home and accidentally flipped off the switch which shuts off the power source. Upon turning back on, my modem no longer turns on. All the other electronices plugged in work fine including the router. When I try to turn on the modem, the red light quickly goes on and off once. The modem is only a month old.

I tried a different power source and that still didn’t work. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

there could have been surge when the power switch was turned on.
You may want to unplug everything including power adapter and try again at different plug point.&nbsp;

I am having the same exact issue. I went to go hard reset my router and now it won’t power back on. Every time I plug the power in the power light blinks red real quick and goes away. I have tried different outlets. Please help!
