Netgear Nighthawk CAX30 recent issue
We bought a Netgear Nighthawk CAX30 device within the last year, as our previous Netgear was a 3-4 years old. Since setting up the new device everything was fine until a few days ago. Normally we unplug/replug it if our internet seems laggy for no reason and never an issue.
Couple nights ago our tv (streaming) was pixely so I figured we'd do an unplug/replug and all would be fine. Except it took 3 cycles of that before wifi came back on all devices for some reason. Additionally I noticed our wifi name and password had changed, I looked on the device & figured out it had reset to the original name & password although we didn't do a reset to factory settings. I changed these back to what we had previously set, but there's been an orange 3 blinking on the front of the device now that I don't think was blinking previously.
Is this common for this device? I work from home 2 days a week and we need a reliable connection. Now I'm wondering if we bought the wrong device or if this was just a fluke.

Next time, instead of doing a unplug/replug option, log into the router and get a screensnip of the cable connections page and the event logs.
Those help us check the connection back to the ISP.
Also, try disabling smart connect and making sure you're streaming devices are on the 5ghz channel. It could be the tv connecting to the 2.4ghz. 2.4ghz is much slower and sensitive to interference.
