No internet Ethernet light is amber
Hi, just moved and got everything set up fine, but I'm getting an intermittent problem. My internet connection will sporadically go out and my Ethernet light on the modem will turn Amber and occasionally blink. Sometimes a restart of the PC fixes the issue but sometimes not. I'm also using a Netgear router.

Re: No internet Ethernet light is amber
Further info, the problem is typically fixed by bypassing the router and then getting the internet to come back on then going through the router again. It only last about six hours or so though before going out again.

Re: No internet Ethernet light is amber
Not sure which cable you're talking about, but both Ethernet cables are new. I can fix it every time by going into command prompt and using the command
Netsh int ip reset reset.log
And then resetting my modem, my computer, then hooking everything through the router again.
