When I try and access my public IP I get prompted for credentials, I am able to enter my router login info and log into my router remotely.
- Remote management is disabled
- Port 80 is not forwarded to ANY machine
- DMZ server is NOT set
I am curious as to why this is happening and if there is a way to disable it.

From within your LAN, or from the outside world?

Changing that (even to a nonexistant address) might solve the
(apparent) problem. If you decide that you still care.

Re: R6250 Admin panel accessible on port 80 of public ip
You are correct in that it is not accessible from outside my local network. Kind of weird behavior, but I'm okay with that as long as its not available outside my LAN.
Thank you!
