Just curious on the final resolution, I also have the same modem but has not deployed it yet

Best thing to do is to give the modem a try.
Be sure it's supported by your ISP. This model modem is getting older in age so you may check into something a bit newer that is supported by your ISP.
After putting the modem online, check the follow and can post the data from each feature page here and we can help check to see if there maybe an issue. Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.
