SETUP Modem ,but landline does not respond.

I connected my modem/wifi and all is great except-----my landline phone does not operate. Any suggestions??

The C7000 doesn't support land line phone systems. 

The CM500v, CM1150v and I think the C7100v supports phone line systems.

This may be a stupid question BUT what is my next step to solve this problem.

    Talk to your ISP or phone service office to see what you need. If you get your phone service from your ISP, then they will be able to help you.
