Slow Upload Speeds Question

So I am on Xfinity's 1200Mbps download and 200Mbps Upload and I just installed my CAX80 today. When connected to Ethernet, I get close to 1Gbps, but my upload is stuck around 30 to 40Mbps. When I had the Xfinity Router, it would regularly top out at the 200Mbps. 

 

I have turned off the OFDMA and that helped my download speeds. Is there something I am missing in regards to the upload speeds on Wifi and Ethernet?

What ethernet devices are you using? Brand and model?

What speed test site are you using? 

 

What channel configurations are currently set on the router?  

Is Smart Connect, MIMO and Beamforming options enabled on the modem?

What FW version is loaded on the modem?

 

What ethernet PC are you using? Brand and model of ethernet adapter.

And you've connected directly to the back of the modem with out the switch in the mix? 

 

What speeds are seen when you have smart connect enabled?

 

Cable specs look ok.

However there's some criticals in the event logs that the ISP needs to take a look at. Any Criticals, Errors or Warnings seen in the event logs needs to be reviewed and resolved by the ISP. Indicates a signal issue on the ISP line up to the modem.

 

 

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. 
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem. 
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Using a MacBook Pro M1 Pro with Ethernet. 

Yes I tried plugging it in the back of the modem and get the same results. I will note its the same results when using Wifi as well. Yesterday, before I switch out the Xfinity Modem, I was getting 1000Mbps down and 200Mbps Up on Ethernet and 700Mbps Down and 180Mbps Up on Wifi. 

I don't have smart connect enabled because I need to have two separate SSID's one for 2.4Ghz and one for 5Ghz as some of my devices that require 2.4, don't work with a shared SSID.

I've seen posts on the xfinity forum that the CAX80 is in the process of certification for the increased upload. It was supposed to come at the end of November but then the CM2050V fiasco hit and I think that delayed several devices.

Also FYI, CC and XF are using newer generation cable header systems. Seems to be causing problems with new and current cable modems. My ISP is still using last generation cable header systems and were not seeing issues here. Just and FYI.
