Spectrum won't update C6300 firmware
I've called and gotten tech support as high up as I could, or at least as high as they would transfer me to, always the same response. I'll have to contact Netgear for firmware update, as it's not a Spectrum issued modem. I'm about ready to pull my hair out! Anybody else having the same problem, or had it but got it resolved? Thanks!

what is the FW on the device?
all the current DOCSIS devices must be upgraded by ISPs. there is no way for customers to upgrade it themselves.
Only exception is CBR40 which is bit different product.
