Tracking Data Usage
Comcast is telling me I'm at 90% of my data usage. If that is the case 1TB is way too low for average home use. I've looked into it and it seems the only way to track data usage is via the modem and it seem,s unfortunately, that none of the modem make it possible. Am I mistaken? Is there a way to track what devices are using what data and when with the CM500, or, for that matter, any cable modems without flashing the firmware with aftermarket software?
Thanks,

I'd expect that a modem like a CM500 would be too stupid to track
much of anything. What are you using as a router? A router might be
clever enough to track something.- DESPAspirant
I'm using a Lynksys Velop wireless mesh router and my looking into was via the google machine and calling Comcast. I am following a lead involving the mighty Raspberry Pi. I've done some playing around with the original and second generation Pi's so I am somewhat familiar with them but I now have a 2 and 4 year old so the days of bird dogging a technical problem are past.
