Traeger pairing problem with CBR750

I have a new Traeger Timberline XL grill and am unable to pair it with my Orbi CBR750 or its satellite.  Spent 3 hours on the phone with Traeger support, tried many things including creating a guest 2.4 Ghz network just for it, no success.  Any suggestions?  (Here's what the Traeger support rep told me to say to Netgear:  "I am trying to pair an IOT device that connects via bluetooth as well as it's own wifi network. It's very simple and any security will keep it from pairing.")

    If there device only connects via BlueTooth then you'll need to connect it to any mobile phone or pad via bluetooth pariing on the mobile phone or pad using there application. The CBR750 doesn't support bluetooth signals. 

    Please contact the Mfr of that device for help and support information regarding there product.
