Turn a Wireless Cable Modem into a access point

I own a Wireless Cable Gateway cg3000d.  Can I turn this device into a access point?

    Hello glenaw

     

    This modem does not have a Access point setting but you can try to make it a access point by going into the LAN ip settings and setting the DHCP server to No and then try connecting int to your main router. Not 100% sure this will work since its not ment to be a access point.
