Vizio TV Model E322AR not able to see the ssid for CAX80/EAX80
Ever since switching from Verizon and their modem to Xfinity and the Netgear products, this particular TV doesn't see the ssid for my network at all. The TV can pick up my neighbors who I believe are using the Verizon equipment. Just curious what setting could be preventing the TV from connecting or seeing the SSID. I have already attempted to disable AX on both devices with no success. I did have connection issues with the router and my company VPN (Cisco Anyconnect). Found out that I had to disable IPSec ALG in order for my VPN to work. I know the TV is old, there are no firmware updates and verified that all equipment is patched. I think my only other option is to use Wireshark to get some diagnotics. The TV connects fine to the internet using the built in NIC. It is the only piece of equipment that won't connect using wifi. Everything else has worked out great with all the recommendations I received from everyone in this group/page. The TV did pick up the network for a brief moment when I powered/unplugged the tv and rebooted the access point, which is right next to the tv. The TV would not allow me to authenticate and then disappeared from the list of available networks. Thank you for your help.

Id contact the TV Mfr for help and information regarding there product.
Be sure WPA2 and AES is set. Don't use WPA3.
If the TV works with ethernet then use that connection.

You're not kidding that tv is old. 12 years to be exact. that's going to be some old N600 speeds. So several generations behind on wifi. If it was me? I'd pick up a Fire Stick Lite (the TV is only 720p) and connect it. Then you'll have better performance, actual smart features, better wifi, and extend the life a bit. You can pick them up for around $15. Otherwise, you could hardwire it in or pick up a wifi extender and hardwire in the TV with the extender's ethernet port. It probably cost you more than the firestick, though.

Is your SSID complex? Such as particularly long, containing spaces, or special characters.
As a test, you might try a short simple one and determine if your TV can see it.
