WiFi Router compatibility

Hi there,   I'm thinking about switching internet provider to fiber and I wonder if my C7000v2 wifi router is compatible with 1G speed and the optical network device that will be installed at home....

Cable modems and Cable modem gateways are NOT compatible with ONT ISP services. Only ONT devices are compatible. Ask the ISP about there requirements and what is compatible.
