access unauthorized wndr4300v2 router

I have noticed as of late that my network has been compromised via a blu-ray player I do not own. I had to do a reset today because the router password and security questions had changed. I also found a clone of my hardwired PC in wireless connection. Blocking connections on the router does not remove the offending device. Also after resetting the router my phone reconnected wirelessly but netgear genie indicates the wireless " cannot scan wireless networks. Make sure your wireless adapter is turned on and not disabled." The wireless is not disabled in the router. I also have checked the contact me of new connections but I've never been contacted.  Is there any security on this router?
