c6300 providing Public IP to VPN Router
I am trying to get a TP-Link R600VPN Router setup so I can log into it while I am not on site.
I have an ethernet cable going from a port on my Netgear c6300 to the WAN port on the TP-Link.
From discussing with TP-Link that setup should be correct and if the netgear is configured properly I should see a public IP on the TP Link WAN setup screen but I am not.
How do I make the c6300 pass the public IP to the VPN Router/Server?
I have tried:
Port Forwarding on the c6300 to the IP address of the VPN Router.
Plugging the cable into a LAN port on the VPN Router
Thank you for any help and ideas.

Re: c6300 providing Public IP to VPN Router
You will need to go to the advanced settings then Administration then Device mode click no this should make the c6300 just a modem to work with your router.
