connecect wirelessly

I have NETGEAR N600 Cable Modem Router Model: C3700v2 

Now I have a new T-Mobile gateway can I connect the Netgear to the T-Mobile gateway wirelessly to extend Wifi range in the basement

The C3700 doesn't have an access point mode but you can kind of trick it into working.

also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
