ethernet light blinking green

I need help, my Cm700 has a blinking green on the Ethernet sign, I have a Linksys mr8300 that is connected to it, used as a WiFi router. It has been working great for like 4 months but know because of the green blinking light the WiFi and Ethernet connections will not work. Is it Linksys’ fault or Neatgear, or my own?

    The green blinking Ethernet LED isn't indicating an issue I'm afraid. From the fine CM700 High Speed Cable Modem User Manual, p.6 Table 1. LED descriptions:

    ===

    Ethernet

    Green. A powered-on device is connected to the Ethernet port at 1000 Mbps.
    • Amber. A powered-on device is connected to the Ethernet port at 10/100 Mbps.
    Blinking green or amber. The Ethernet port is processing traffic.
    • Off. No device is connected to the Ethernet port.

    A computer or mobile should be able to connect to a router like your Link sys by Ethrnet or wireless, so the router does associate some LAN IP by DHCP, and you should be able to reach the other brand router Web UI on it's LAN IP like http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.1.1/  ... troubleshooting starts t that point.
