C6300 Access Point Security

Scared to ask this question because I am afraid I may not like the answers.  Hoping to be wrong though!

I am cursed by an ISP who provides their own Zyxel wireless router and forbids any customer access to its configuration - can't even change the SSID/pw myself.  I have set up my owned Netgear C6300 as a co-located, wired Access Point.  The AP functions fine except:  It does not seem to allow/apply any Access Control feature.  I want to use this AP for guests (instead of giving them full access to the ISP wireless router and sharing the ISP-assigned SSID/pw).

I want to limit guests to internet access only - and not have access to my clients running directly on the ISP router.  I suppose I also would prefer limiting guest access from each other on the AP (but I care less about that - it's not a VRBO or hotel - just a house).  Any ideas? Anything at all?  Sorry, but I have some sketchy friends who have even sketchier friends.   :(

Those features would be controlled through the main router. Is there no way to make the ISP modem run as modem only and then use the 6300 as your main router?
