Hello markturk76
We are aware of the issues with Samsung Devices on wifi our engineers are aware and looking to fix the issue but I have read from other posters they have been able to get it to work on the guest network wifi with out security and hiding the SSID.

I have the same issue as most. My wife, myself and my son own a Galaxy S6 edge, Note 5 and Note 4 respectively. We cannot use Google play. Not only does the app not load properly, but we have downloading issues as well. This is ABSOLUTLEY NOT ACCEPTABLE. Seems alot of people are having this issue but Netgear is not fixing the issue. I paid a crapload of money for this product and I cannot use the one app that is most important to our phones. I created a guest network and It works sometimes and not others. It seems that negear is not too concerned about this issue or it would be fixed by now. I purchase my router in July of 2015 and it has been having this problem for almost a year. I will be starting an online petition on this issue. I have been successful in the past with other companies in getting satisfaction on issues in either getting problems fixed or getting refunds on thier products. I've even been part in class action lawsuits concerning companies who just don't want to support their products. It's rediculus to have too deal with this type of problem and get NO support from Netgear on it. I shouldn't have to be a tech guru to fix a problem I'm having with a netgear product nor should I have to spend hours upon hours to research and try to fix it with no satisfaction. It seems to me if they troubleshoot the problem properly a fix should be achievable. I'm a mechanical engineer and I troubleshoot mechanical problems all the time and I know that this should not still be an issue for as long as it has been. If anyone can update this thread with a solution that will actually work I would definitely appreciate it!

Hello sbecka
I am very sorry the C6300 is having these issues with the galaxy phones and our engineers are working to resolve this problem but it can not be fixed right away because when we create a firmware to fix issues on a cable modem it gets sent to the cable companies for approval and then the cable company pushes the fix when they decide to. This process can sometimes take months to do. I will keep you up to date on the issue once I get more information on this.
