Hello Dricky
If you are using a console you may want to look into port forwarding for your system.

Hey Darren,
i am using a console and I did port forward it because certain games like call of duty for example won't give me an open NAT if I don't do it. However, the thing is whenever I do that and then I play another game online like NBA2k17, the lag is horrible. Even getting to play with a friend is like impossible. I'm stuck always having to modify the settings which is a pain. I think I might just have to get a new internet setup.

Hello Dricky
You may want to do some speed tests and packet loss tests to see if its the ISP causing the Lag.
