C7000v2 – Nighthawk and optimum internet
Hi. My internet service is optimum and I have been using the C7000v2 – Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router since May 2019 with no problems, but today the connection keeps going on and off. Optimum said the modem is not compatible with their service and I need a new modem. Is that really true? Is there something else I can do? The landlord doesn't let me change the internet provider

do you have a screen snip of the modem's cable connection page and the event logs?

Hey did you ever get a solution? I currently have the same problem. Only difference is cancelled my account and the made a new one but downgraded my plan. Ever since then it's been not compatible.
