CAX80 Power Only Light/Unresponsive
I came home the other day to find my Netgear Nighthawk CAX80 with only the power light on. No other lights. Does not show up in WiFi on any of my devices. Tried power cycling multiple times, as well as unplugging the coax. Nothing. Tried reset button multiple times, even holding it in while cycling the power. Still nothing. Tried holding the reset button for 30 seconds, one minute +. Nothing. My warranty just expired in May. Called Netgear support and they said there's nothing they can do because it is out of warranty. $460 router/modem combo reduced to $0. Had to drive to the Xfinity store the other day to rent their equipment (for $14/month) just so I can get my internet working again. I see there are multiple threads in the forum pertaining to this same issue. Just wanted to start my own thread so that this issue gets more recognition. Netgear needs to address this issue. This is not right.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Cable Modems & Routers
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
