CM500 Settings to Improve Download Speeds
Comcast states that the reason I am only observing download speeds of 24.0 Mbps at speedtest.xfinity.com (rather than the 100.0 Mbps speed that I am paying for) is likely because of configurations of my Netgear modem that can be adjusted by Netgear.
Are configurable settings on Netgear modems a common cause of slower-than-expected internet speeds? How do I go about adjusting these configurations?

The CM modem is a modem only. There are no adjustments that users can change on these modems.
It's more like the ISP needs to check your signal and line quality up to the modem on there service line.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in between the ISP service box and the modem.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cabling up to the from from the ISP service box.
