CM700 cable modem not getting highest speed with Suddenlink
Hi there,
Searced a bit but didn't find a solve so posting the issue. I recently started new service (new construction) in AZ with Suddenlink. I have a CM700 that is getting about 90 to 100mbps on a 400mbps service plan. It's connected to a Linksys Velop mesh network. I ruled out the mesh network by having the Suddenlink installer use their Arris CM3200 cable modem and saw 380 - 390mbps using the same laptop, etc. The installer did contact someone at the CO to activate/validate the modem which leads me to believe that there is something that needs to be configured on the modem. Maybe bonding the channels? But I thought this was automatically handled at a device level.
Is there a solution for this? Instructions and troubleshooting guides are limited.
Thanks for the help!
Michael
