Can't access certain websites (C7000 Nighthawk AC1900 Wifi Cable Modem Router)
I am having trouble with accessing certain websites. For Example I can get google to pull up a search for yahoo and once i click on the link it'll open the website, but then I can search MSN on google and it's won't let me visit the site, etc. Internet Service Providier is Comcast / Xfinity, and i bought this modem to avoid the $10/month charge for renting their modem / router....now i'm having issues.

This sounds like a DNS issue have you tried to change the DNS server in your settings? This article I found may help you.
