What are the main differences between the cm1200 and the cm2000?Besides the cm1200 having 4 ethernet ports for LAG

Yes, you'll need a switch and router that supports 2.5Gb connection rates. Also you'll need a PC network adatper as well. Most current routers (LAN side) and LAN adapters mostly support 1000Mbps max. so you'll not see much over 900Mpbs. I see around 940Mpbs on my system.&nbsp;

When you say, "I have 940/35" … just make sure you know that 940 happens to be what you get (the max) over a 1Gbps link. In other words, I 'get' 940 if I have my link to my modem over a 1Gbps Ethernet link, but I get 1190 Mbps over a 2.5Gbps link. All of that is useless if you don't have the switch that supports mGig all the way to your end equipment, unless you are splitting up the bandwidth over multiple devices and don't care if you can never get greater than 940 on one device.&nbsp; You still need an mGig (2.5Gbps) capable port on your router to connect to a CM2000 otherwise you are wasting the modem's potential (and only novel definining feature).
