Issues with speed from a Nighthawk AX8
I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wifi Cable Modem/Router combination seeing as I increased our plan with Xfinity to get faster internet. Our upload speeds are extremely faster, but our download speeds are worse. We used to use an Orbi Router RBR40 with satelites that helped alot. I am wondering if I would be able to use those and bypass the router on the Nighthawk? Or if there is something wrong with the set up? Do I need to call Xfinity?

AX6000 is a speed ad not a model.
what actual speeds are you getting?
How are you testing these speeds? wired? wireless? What band?

Sorry for the confusion. I am not very tech savy. I have the Netgear Nighthawk CAX80, it is a AX6000 Wifi Cable Modem Router. I tested the speed on my laptop wireless and hardwired. Xfinity Speed test by Ookla and the results for hardwired were, download , upload and a ping of . The results for wireless were download , upload . Not sure what you mean by what band? We upgraded our Xfinity internet to a faster plan and this is what we are suppose to get.
Gigabit Internet Plan
Download speeds: up to 1200 Mbps
Upload speeds: up to 35 Mbps
Speeds on my wireless laptop were 104.32 upoad and 41.77 download.
