My modem's event log has stopped functioning.

Hello all.

1. First let me say that my moden is model CM2000, but the drop-down menu does not list that model so I selected the closest one (CM1200).

 

2. The modem is less than a week old and at first I was able to log into the management web page (192.168.100.1) and view the event log. However, starting this morning, all the columns in the event log simply contained the word "undefined," repeated dozens of times. So I cleared the log and now there are no events recorded whatsoever! None have been recorded all day despite the modem having been online. The event log is simply blank.

 

How do I get the event log working again?

    Just checked mine on xfinity and didn't have issues. 

    Did you try rebooting? 

    Clearing the logs isn't going to trigger any reconnects with the isp.
