QoS Bandwidth Throttling on Nighthawk X6S (R8000P)

So, at our home, we have many devices, and I've noticed that if I don't enable Dynamic QoS, one resource can hog all of the bandwidth (say our kid is watching Netflix downstairs). However, I also notice that once I enable Dynamic QoS, no device (not even the ones with the highest priority) can ever test out again at 1 Gpbs. . . it's always 300 Mbps or lower. Is there any way to set that the highest priority still have all resources available? My spouse and I both work from home, so we want that full 1 Gbps available to our work systems at all times, as needed. Thanks, in advance!
