Time setting for C6220

 I've been looking everywhere in the documentation and settings, of the C6220 cable modem router, to find how I can adjust the

time to match my time zone. (EST) the router is showing 1 hr behind my time zone.

I did numerous factory defaults rests still showing wrong time.

Please if you know the right answer post it here otherwise, don't suggest and guesstimate.

I know where to look for the time : it is under ADVANCED> SECURITY> SCHEDULE> there is no drop down menu or anything at the bottom of the page. You are stuck with what is shown.

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

     

    Regarding your concern, the date and time are updated by your Internet service provider. You cannot change it manually because the system of the ISP doesn't use Daylight Saving Time, so the ISP system will not have issues looking on the logs.

      Thank you for the suggestion. I'll try to call them. My ISP is Comcast ( Xfinity) I doubt they know or understand how to fix the issue.

      They use south east asia people working out of their farm, I was online with a so called CS when his rooster started crowing.

      But I'll give it a try.
