Trouble Entering Admin Page on Modem/Router C6300

I am unable to access my modem/router admin page. After entering credentials all I get is the swirling working icon.  This has happened in the past and my only option is to restart the modem and then enter setup.  Although this is a valid work-around I shouldn't have to.  I am hoping that someone can offer a suggestion and/or help.

    Try another web browser or clear the cache of the one you are trying to use.
