Turn old c7000v2 to Wifi Extender?
I would like to connect my old Nighthawk modem/router to my new Nighthawk router (CAX30) and use that old one as a wireless extender. How would I go about doing this?
ie: CAX30 (Main Modem/Router) -> wirelessly connected to -> c7000v2 (used as an extender in my garage)
all of the "how to's" are specific to nighthawk routers only, so I am having some difficulty setting this up. Any help would be appreciated.
No. Can only use the C series modem in gateway or modem only modes.
You can configure a faux wired AP mode on the C7000 and use it as a wireless AP.
