Which cable modems offer VPN support?
I have the R8000P router and I but I need a modem. Is there a modem that offers all the features that this router does, mainly the port forwarding and VPN service?

Most modems don't offer VPN suppport. IF you have a external router already, check to see if that model router supports VPN, if it does, then you only need a NG CM series modem. Something like a CM1000 or 1100 or 2000.
