c7000v2 in bridge mode but wifi is still on
Hi there, I have placed my Netgear c7000v2 cable modem / router into bridge mode ie I turned routing functions off. A downstream tp-link router takes over routing and wifi duties. However, even in br...

I find it very difficult to believe your C7000v2 Wi-Fi is still transmitting when the Wi-Fi radio indicator on the front panel is not illuminated.
Do you have unique SSID's configured for both the 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands on your C7000v2?
Do you have any other devices in the home that transmit Wi-Fi signals with the same SSID's?
What client device are you using to determine the C7000v2 Wi-Fi is still transmitting?
Yes, the LED is on, and I was unable to turn it off, neither with the physical button nor within the software panel (192.168.100.1). And, yes, the SSID was the same as the one on my router right next to it, which caused a network conflict, which in turn was the reason for me to write here That all said, now that I have turned OneMesh off on the TP-Link router, the wifi on the Netgear cable modem side does not seem to turn back on. I hope that this resolves it for now, except that it will mean that I won't be able to use OneMesh function on the TP-Link router.

No matter what I did, the device ended up turning on wifi on, over and over again. Rebooting fixed that, only to start again a day later. I ended up resetting the device to factory defaults and then re-enabling bridge mode. For the past 3 days, it has not restarted wifi on its
own. Fingers crossed.
