Hello,
My friend had internet connection till yesterday with a router (modem+router combo). Today, I got a new Spectrum account in my name with the same router that I bought from my friend. Now, the internet LED is not lit in the router. I can connect with the wifi signal and login to the router login dashboard, which shows that there is no cable connection. I called the Spectrum and a technician came and said everythign on their end is fine. There is signal to the wall outlet. But I am not getting signal in my router which was workign the day before. If anyone has a solution to this, I would really appreciate this as the technician also told the router might not be working.
Thanks,

Thank you for the reply and suggestion. My problem was actually "Network Access denided by MSO" which is explained in this post.
Thank you for the solution in this post. In addition to the solution to the post, the reason for showing up that message in router login dashboard was incomplete cancellation of the MAC address from the previous account (of my friend). I called the Spectrum and fixed the issue.

Re: Internet LED not lit- No internet C6250
Did spectrum ever activate the C6250?
Can they ping it?
you might want to post in the cable modem/router section if you have the C6250
