Norton Mobile Security/ Android Compromised SSL Warning

The Norton app on my Android tablet warned me the Netgear wifi router has been compromised. Everything online says it's either true or it's a 'false positive'.
I've installed the latest updates and changed the router name and passwords. Is there a way to tell if the breach / hack is real or should I just reset everything to factory default?

Is that all it said, or did it provide some useful description of the
claimed vulnerability? Does your "the Netgear wifi router" have a model
number and a firmware version?

You looked at "Everything online"? I'm impressed. That sounds like
very much material.

Did this have any effect? An actual firmware version would be more
helpful than your opinion of what's "the latest" today.

Not from the (paltry) information which you've provided here.
> [...] or should I just reset everything to factory default?
Knowing nothing about the actual claimed vulnerability, it's hard to
say whether this would do much. You might want to save your settings
before the reset, so that you'll be able to restore them easily when the
reset doesn't help.
