Canvas II keeps freezing

I have the 27" Meural Canvas II (MC327). After a few hours, the unit locks up and doesn't respond to commands through the app or on the device itself,. The only solution is to unplug unit. I've tried hard resetting the device multiple times and made sure it's on the latest firmware, but the issue keeps happening.

Any ideas? Thanks

On a sidenote: I created a support ticket and Netgear said they would RMA replace it, but I later found out they cancelled the RMA for no particular reason. I even uploaded the screenshots they requested and a representative said everything was good on my end. By the time I noticed they mysteriously cancelled the RMA weeks later, it was past my unit's warranty period so now I'm stuck using the forums for help.
