Videos resizing and look ridiculous

Hello all. I have uploaded some MP4 format videos to the canvas, and they are showing only in a very small window, with very large black border

 

Why?

 

Why is this so difficult? Why can't your product just resize these videos? I have tried all the config options in the device - stretch, as-is etc. But no joy.

 

What is the point in having a very expensive digital frame if it can't auto-size videos, meaning users have to mess around and do it?!?!?!

 

This is so very frustrating.

      Thanks but that does not help. The file formats are .mp4. 

       

      The link also does not help because it offers no information on scaling.

       

      Why are my videos showing in just a fraction of the screen (with a large black border) regardless of the sizing / auto-format I choose in the Canva config settings?

       

      None of the device settings scale the video. Why not?

       

      Please don't just refer me to the same link (as seems to happen every time someone asks a similar question), please actually provide a meaningful response
