Re: Differenza router d7000 e d7000v2?
GT> Difference between router d7000 and d7000v2?
The D7000v2 seems to be a lower-cost revision to the original D7000.
I don't know what all the differences are.

Red connectors cost money. For a non-DSL connection on the D7000v2,
you apparently use the LAN-4/Internet port instead of a dedicated (red)
"Internet" port.
I say "apparently", because the pictures in the D7000v2 User Manual
are not very clear, and the picture for non-DSL service ("Figure 7.
Modem router cabling for cable or fiber service") on page 26 looks
exactly the same as the picture for DSL service ("Figure 6. Modem router
cabling for DSL service") on page 22. In the plain/v1 D7000 User
Manual, Figure 6 and Figure 7 also exist, but look different (as they
should).
The firmware appears to be different, too, so the firmware bugs on
the D7000v2 are probably different from those on the plain/v1 D7000.
