Bitdefender Total Security vs Netgear Armor

Question

I happen to already have Bitdefender Total Security installed on one of my devices.&nbsp; The Nighthawk app doesn't recognize that it is already there.&nbsp; I tried over installing the armor link over what was already there.&nbsp; Basically all it did was say I already had it and I was good.&nbsp; However, the Nighthawk app still doesn't recognize it.&nbsp; Is there a way for the Nighthawk app to connect to Bitdefender already installed?

Just to confirm, is you're Bitdefender Total Security a subscription purchased directly from Bitdefender? Or was Bitdefender Total Security installed after subscribing to NETGEAR Armor using one of the methods in the links below?

It is a pre-existing Bitdefender license.
