ReadyNAS 314 Data Missing after Reboot
Everything is normal before it became unsearchable in the network.
Then I shut down the NAS by pressing the power button.
After power on the NAS, it still can't search in the network.
So I installed the RaiDar to find it.
The software showed me the Status: Volume data-0: RAID Level 5. inactive: 0MB (0%) of 0MB used.
What should I do now? I don't know how to recover my workspace's NAS.
And there is not IT department in my company.

Re: ReadyNAS 314 Data Missing after Reboot
Contact paid Netgear support (using my.netgear.com). You don't want the gearhead support. I suggest using per-incident support for this - as it often can be easily fixed. However, it could end up needing data recovery. https://kb.netgear.com/69/ReadyNAS-Data-Recovery-Diagnostics-Scope-of-Service
If you have trouble finding the per-incident support option, you can send a private message (PM) to @JohnCM_S or @Marc_V using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page.
When you get your data back, you should
- Put a backup plan in place for your NAS - RAID is not enough to keep it safe. USB backup drives are a cost-effective option.
- Upgrade your firmware - it is five years old, and very out-of-date. You should be using 6.9.6 (current "long term support" firmware), or 6.10.3 (current "stable" firmware).
