qBittorrent Web Client 1.0.3 cannot add large torrents

Hi all,

I have installed qBittorrent Web Client 1.0.3 via the APP section of the Web Admin Console of my ReadyNas 204.

It is all working good with one exception.

I cannot add larger than 5GB torrent files. When I select the torrent file via the web interface and click on the button "Download" , nothing happens.

Is there anyway I can configure this Readynas qBittorent client and somehow extend the size of the torrents I can add to the client for downloading?

Current ReadyNas OS firmware version - 6.5.0.

it was the same for the previous firmware versions and it is the same for the new firmware version 6.5.1 ( which I downgraded from because of other issues ).

Thanks

Vladi

    Hi savek,

I encountered the same problem. Have you tried other torrent apps like BitTorrent Sync? Transmission?

    Kind regards,

You mean your torrent is 5 GB, not the torrent file, right? I think the largest torrent file size I have in my meta folder is 2 MB.

So, is it add or download? You're using the qBittorrent to download the files that the client already downloaded? Or you're trying to add a torrent that has a total torrent download size of 5 GB and it never itself adds to the qBittorrent client?

      Hi kohdee,

Most torrent files are less than 100kb and when I tried it on my end. I was able upload the torrent file via download/upload and magnet link but it won't start the download. The said torrent file to be downloaded is 7.6GB and when I tried a smaller one (1.xxGB and 100mb), the download started immediately. Not sure if this a limitation or what.

      Kind regards,
