Can i connect my Netgear extender to my d-link extender

I am using a d-link modem at the moment and im also using a d-link extender, ive got 2 spare netgear extenders. Can i connect the netgear extenders to the d-link extender or can the netgear extender be only used on netgear products?

    You can connect the extenders to Dlink but you would want to connect it to the router and not daisy chain off another extender.
