Can't reinstall Nighthawk EX7300 extender

I bought a netgear Nighthawk EX7300 last year and set it up, needed help from phone support, then it would drop connections, I would call again, then we would do a factory reset and re-set it up with...

Have you tried using a Ethernet cord and directly connecting a laptop to the extender then try logging into the web ui of the extender?
