EAX20_unable to open banking apps on wifi extender network

Hi All,

 

I recently upgraded my home network with an EAX 20 wifi range extender, however as soon as I join to the extender wifi network, my iPad and mobile banking apps stop functioning.

 

Smart TVs only function when I manually assign the IP and gateway. The device won't set up as an access point or a wifi extender, despite my attempts.

 

It assigns the Gateway IP as 192.168.1.250 by default and I have to change it to 192.168.1.1 manually in order to make it work on TV 

Is there a way to fix this?

    This 192.168.1.250 is the default IP address for thèse extenders. Tells me the extender isn't properly configured integrated with your existing network.

    Just power up, connect the Ethernet to the LAN and associate a mobile to the default Wi-Fi isn't enough.

    Did you set it up using the push button WPS option? 

    If so, factory reset the extender  and set it up using the installation assistant.

    To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
