EX6200v2 cannot disable wifi completely

Why is it that I can't disable the wifi whenever I'm connected via fastlane to the 5 GHz network?

As you can clearly see, I have fully disabled the wifi radios in the settings but for some reason the extender is still broadcasting a hidden network (I used the wifi analyzer app on my phone to check). Weirdly, this issue does not occur when I connect via fastlane to the 2.4 GHz network, there I can fully disable the wifi on the extender. This has been an ongoing issue since I bought the extender in 2018 and is still not fixed in the latest firmware.

    A stupid question. That firmware was released in september. 

    did you every try a factory reset with a reinstall? 

    sometimes old settings can cause issues.

      The problem with resetting the extender on the latest firmware is that I cannot even register a local account on the setup page as it gives me a 400 bad request.

        You can always use the hardware button for the reset
